Synopsis: Since 2010, Pastoral Migratoria, a ministry of the Archdiocese of Chicago, has invited Catholics to respond to their baptismal call and take part in service and justice actions in their parish communities to support their fellow immigrants – past and present. “Agentes de su Propio Desarrollo” documents Pastoral Migratoria leaders at various stages of their journey as they learn how to accompany fellow migrants. Together with others in the Archdiocese these agents work to welcome all who seek shelter in Chicago.

Scott Garrett, a bush pilot priest, as he flies to remote corners of the state, sharing the church’s faith and hope with those who call these isolated villages home. The Saint Paul Mission is funded in part by Chicago based Catholic Extension Society.
