Catholic Charities Post Adoption Services helps people from all over the country learn more about their ancestry. The Black Catholic Deacons of Chicago sponsor an annual sunrise prayer service to pray for the end to the violence in our neighborhoods and the protection of our children as a new school begins. And the Illinois chapter of the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums is sponsoring a virtual lecture series called Rosa Mystica: A Journey of Renewal and Restoration.

Sr. Stephanie Baliga talks about her treadmill marathon to raise funds for the Mission of Our Lady of the Angels in West Humboldt Park. The disproportionate rate of Covid-19 infections in the Latinx and Black communities is discussed on the Voice of Charity. We hear uplifting music from the St. Agatha Contemporary Gospel Choir.
