Sanctuary

Sanctuary is the Archdiocese of Chicago's TV news magazine program that airs quarterly on ABC Chicago. The program is hosted by Fr. Gregory Sakowicz, rector of Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago. Sanctuary is produced by the Archdiocesan Office of Radio and Television and is taped on location throughout the Chicago area.

Sanctuary airs on the Live Well Network which can be seen over-the-air on ABC 7.2, as well as on Comcast Channel 217, RCN Channel 618, WOW Channel 219, Mediacom Channel 723 and Charter Channel 608.

In the April 2020 edition of Sanctuary, An archbishop who suffered tremendous loss after the bombing in Nagasaki during World War II shares his powerful story. Golden moments in long-lasting marriages. These couples are celebrating a half century together. And a cavalcade of faith in preparation for the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

March 2023: St. Baldricks event at Queen of Martyrs

Students, teachers, parents and staff get their heads shaved at this St. Baldrick's event at Queen of Martyrs in Evergreen Park. The annual fundraiser helps raise money for childhood cancer research.
