Today's show features examples of the wide range of marvelous music found in our schools, from classical to jazz, from solo sax to marimba trios, to massed choirs. Marist High School (Chicago) is represented by their band director Frank Manna along with students Melissa Lonski and David Oriente. Fr. Richard Todd and Principal Susan Dzikas from St.Paul/Our Lady of Vilna School (Chicago) share the story of their successful elementary school partnership program with Scott Winship from “Rock for Kids.” Band director, David Wiebers from Carmel Catholic High School (Mundelein) is joined by students Ryan McFfaden and Austin Byrd in a discussion about their music.
